Day 7 (2022-05-08): Blind Channel Resort – No Movement – Windy Weather. Woke up at 0500 to depart and as part of the plan-of-the-day checked Environment Canada, the Windy App, and Windfinder App. Bottom line, based on how things lined up, we determinized it was not prudent to chance the open waters of the Johnstone Strait. However, the good news is we were able to do some laundry and put some meat in the freezer. We purchased our 5-day Canada Licenses, put the zodiac together, and went out in quest of ling cod and rock fish right by our docking. We did good 😊 (not bad for some boys from KS) and ended the day with a nice fish dinner and some cocktails.

Tomorrow, we will try again tackle Whirlpool and Greene Point Rapids and hopefully make it to Port Harvey if the weather permits on the open waters of the Johnstone Strait. We will be up at 4:30AM checking the updated forecast.
