Approximately 46 miles, 5hrs. We had to cruise through the Wrangell Narrows which is 21 nm long and timing is everything. The trick is to not enter the narrows until the end of a flood tide so you can be at the midpoint at slack (current changes halfway through). So we left around 1000, got there early and tooled around for awhile at the entrance, in order to be at the slack point around 1500ish. We docked in the Petersburg North Harbor Marina and walked the town and had some cocktails and halibut tacos. Very cool town and we are sad to be missing the Little Norway Festival this Fri-Sun. People are already coming to town and sounds like a crazy weekend. All in all a very neat town and great harbor bordered by the snow capped mountains. About 128 miles to go.
