Day 14 (2022-05-15): Prince Rupert to Ketchikan – Approximately 93 miles, 11hrs. After taking on fuel when the station opened $$$$ we headed out around 9:00am. The sea reports seamed ok but what do we know. We made the Dixen Entrance crossing and were once again exposed to the Pacific Ocean in our slowboat. The seas were not that bad nor was the wind or tide – all in all it was better than anticipated and the crossing was safe. About midway through, we crossed out of BC back into the USA and had another time change. The Dall’s seemed to escort us out of BC to the USA. We cleared US customs the previous day using the CBP ROAM App which was simple and requires no boarding. We made it to Ketchikan and plan to stay a day or so here. If anyone see’s my wife – tell here hello and she’s the best 😊. Approximately 250 miles more to Juneau for a homeport.
